the day before

Brian's daughter Rachael here. We filled dad's room to capacity today, playing scrabble and guitar. His counts are good and spirts way up. The day before the transplant, we couldn't feel more ready to do this. Go dad go!

  1. This is your big day. The day those bad CLL cells get the meet there match. By now, your donor cells should be tucked away safely waiting to go to work. Get them boys!

  3. Way to go Brian! Praying for you today as the battle moves from planning and preparation to cell-to-cell combat. It is indeed a miracle.

Let us thank and praise God for the work he is about to do in you.

  5. Dear Brian,
We missed you, and spoke of you, at the Mifgash at Haim's over the weekend, and we look forward with joy and confidence to your joining us again next year. I am a regular donor of platelets at City of Hope, I'll make an appointment to do that again in the next week or so.
    Thinking of you, with love,
    Claire

  6. You are on your way to the "Big Time"

"...Talkin' bout a friend of mine
    Talkin' bout a gold mine
    Richest vein in any mountain
    Talkin' bout the enemy
    Inside of me
    Talkin' bout
    That youthful fountain
    Talkin' bout you and me
    Talkin' bout eternity
    Talkin' bout the big time..."
    ...Neil Young

    Onwards to victory!
Edward, Marianne, Claire, Lauren, and Aidan

  7. Brain,
May the bag of miracles cure you and take away all the CLL. I am the cheerleader hoping, praying and walking behind in awe.
