"You say it's your birthday, it's my birthday too" The Beatles

The day breaks
Your mind aches
The Beatles

Woke up with a headache and I still have it now. Maybe it's the Micafungin, a new med to prevent fungal infections. Anyway, ice packs, meditation, and of course some Darvocet (a very mild narcotic pain pill) keeps things manageable, but I not much for posting today. My platelets and hemoglobin are still very good, and  my white count is 1.3, which is just above the 1.0 mark that would have prevented me from leaving the room to walk and see the fireworks. I am on the 6th floor, and should have a great view from the ultramodern glass walled lobby. My wife and I have a date. Highlight of my day, for sure. If I time my meds right, I should be pretty pain free for an hour or two to enjoy Independence Day celebrations.
More tomorrow

I can tell that you do not feel well. How you might ask? Your posts are usually a little longer, flow very well and packed full of elegance and style.

I hope you are feeling better this morning.

You blood counts look good so keep up the great work.

Brian,
I am sorry it was a rough day. I hope the next few days are better. I hope the fireworks were a good show, celebrating not only US independence, but the beginning of your new life without CLL. Hang in there.

Hello Brian, I'm Laurie, Pam McKeever's sister. My hubby, Bob came to you for general healthcare many, many years ago so I imagine you can't remember us. We however get to remember you through Pam. In fact we heard some fun stories about your recent European travels with Pam and John! We spent the 4th with Pam & John and Pam told us you would enjoy communications from the outside world to fill your days. So, I thought you might like to view my latest watercolor project involving Pam & John and give me your opinion. If you, or anyone else who reads this would like to offer up their opinion, I'd appreciate it. My e-mail address is hoorae@mac.com. Send me your e-mail address and I'll forward photos to you:).

Have a peaceful and restful day today and know that when I think of you , I'll be surrounding you in white light.

Hugs and Smiles,
Laurie
