"Baby, You can drive my car" The Beatles

Bugatti Veyron 16.4

I got a brand new car
And I like to drive real hard
I got a brand new car
And I'm feeling good so far

The Stones

The car dies, and it's only money. Would that lymphocytes could be so easily bought and sold. Fortunately my son is looking for a used car, not white blood cells like his old man.

The old Camry was shaking it self apart. Literally one of the mounting bolts had poked a hole through the hood. Not a pretty picture. Off to charity, where it will be sold for parts. A little money for a good cause. Which leaves us one car short. Not much of an issue, as I almost never leave the house alone these days, so we get by with one car.  My son, Ben has long term loan of our second car. We will need it back, hopefully soon as I get ready to re-enter the world. Now a new bone marrow costs about the same as a Porsche Carrera GT (around $400,000) and way less than a Bugatti Veyron ($1.2 to $1.7 mil) but my son is looking for something more reliable with better milage and also a bit cheaper, say for around $3000-$5000, preferably at the lower end.  A truck is OK too. If you live in SoCal and can help, please email Ben at vincentmeloy@aol.com.

He is flexible and is not too proud to say no to a gift of your old Bugatti or Porsche.

Thanks

Hi Dr. K,

For some reason I stopped getting the updates for a couple of weeks, but am glad to hear that things ar moving....slowly but at least moving.

Now, too bad you didn't need a car a few weeks ago. We just got rid of my hubby's PT Turbo. Would of been a perfect car for your son. I will keep my eyes and ears open for a great deal.

Praying that you will be out and amog us soon........

Judy

I will keep my eyes open for a good deal for Ben. I can always give him a ride in my Porsche. It cost less than a CGT, put is much faster.

Hello Dr. are you still posting on this site? My son just had a mini transplant for AML in Sept. of 08 and now is rejecting it from what they can tell. I just was hoping to be able to get some encouragement from someone with knowledge of the medical field who has experienced some of the same issues as Christopher.
