102,000

That is the platelet count today, 2 days after my latest low dose IVIG.

Celebratory news. Not quite a yahoo or whoopie or even a rah-rah, but still darn glad tidings.

It gives me some breathing room.

I am no longer in crisis mode, but all the decision points are still the same, just less urgent.

I am thankful for the respite and especially thankful for all the kind words and prayers.

So glad to see the platelets up. Time to think is gold, though also sometimes very frustrating. Hope they stay up for a long time!

Brian: sorry about that photo - didn't mean for it to be there! I do have a blog but nothing on it yet - still thinking.

I praise God, rejoicing with you for your rapid platelet response. Any delay of steroids is a reprieve. I continue to pray for you as you examine your options and make informed choices.

I delight to read how you so fully embrace the special times in your life.

Any chance I could read your teaching on immunizations?

Grandma,

Thank you. My teaching on immunizations are almost all mined from data on the CDC.gov webpage. My powerpoint presentation in 90+ slides and would be boring to review without the commentary.
