BkoffmanMD@gmail.com A family doc and husband of 1 and father of 4 and grandfather of 3 who loves his family and his work. I live with no TV and no microwave, but wouldn't last a minute without friends, art, music, books and the beach. Hockey, good jokes and exotic travel are pretty important too. Writing, Talmud and Zen give meaning to my life. My diet is organic vegan, often raw. I hope the blog makes the load lighter and the path both safer and more fun for those who read it or are going to similar places. I want to help. I crave your comments. Hey Brian! Thanks for your comment over at CSL blog. I have known about you for some time.. I am so glad to see that your platlets are doing jumps UP!
My CLL seems to be sort of a smoldering type.. I am at about the same blood status as I was when I was diagnosed nearly three years ago. My deepest hope is that it says that way.. I am 50 1/2 now.. so god willing, those white cells will stay at about 17K, no higher and that I will remain symptom free. I am neg for zap 70 and Cd 38, no chromosome breaks, stage 0. I feel very blessed that I found out when I did or things might not look so .. well.. "good".. as it were. I think you understand...
