I am well and loving it

What started as a personal journey of a doctor turned patient morphed into a way to share what’s universal in dealing with cancer, in my case a nasty leukemia (CLL), a failed transplant and a successful clinical trial. The telling of my journey has become a journey to teach about CLL, related blood issues and all cancers. Please visit our new website http://cllsociety.org for the latest news and information. Congrats.
I remember taking a 'holiday' from CLL back in 2009. I was feeling great, my labs were OK, so I took several months off from blood work, and went hiking and had a great time.
My next blood test showed I was in deep trouble. My hemoglobin dropped, and my WBC skyrocketed. I felt fine, but my vacation let the CLL get a bit out of control.
I hope that doesn't happen to you.
Wonderful!

Brian,
I have been consumed with stuff lately and behind in reading up on blogs. Hope the rest does you some good and wish you the best
