I am well and loving it

I am doing well. Labs are good. Mild anemia, mild macrocystosis, slightly high BP and uric acid, but great chemistries and platelets.

Nodes are staying small.

So I am not going to think about CLL or ITP or transplants or trials for a few weeks.

Won't be checking the blog or Facebook or even emails for a few weeks.

I will be silent, but not still.

Time to let my worries melt away.

Time to reassess and pause and refresh.

Sounds like a bubble bath, but it is immersion of a different kind.

Congrats.

I remember taking a 'holiday' from CLL back in 2009. I was feeling great, my labs were OK, so I took several months off from blood work, and went hiking and had a great time.

My next blood test showed I was in deep trouble. My hemoglobin dropped, and my WBC skyrocketed. I felt fine, but my vacation let the CLL get a bit out of control.

I hope that doesn't happen to you.
