In this time of great need, I think that signing up for donorship is more than an act of goodwill. It is humane and exceptional. I myself have signed up and also as a blood donor. If a little paperwork on my part and a bit of my time can help people live longer lives, then I will gladly do it and hope that others will do the same.

This month we are discussing “The Last Lecture” by Randy Pausch. “...the lecture he gave ... was about the importance of overcoming obstacles, of enabling the dreams of others, of seizing every moment (because “time is all you have…and you may find one day that you have less than you think”). It was a summation of everything Randy had come to believe. It was about living.”
