MARROWTHON

Complete a form and maybe save a life.

Become a bone marrow donor. There is no expense and not even a blood test, just a swab from your cheek.

The only hassle is the important and lengthy online form.

A chance to save a life for the cost of some "paperwork".

Thanks. You will feel good about yourself.  I guarantee it.

In this time of great need, I think that signing up for donorship is more than an act of goodwill. It is humane and exceptional. I myself have signed up and also as a blood donor. If a little paperwork on my part and a bit of my time can help people live longer lives, then I will gladly do it and hope that others will do the same.

Open invitation to you and your readers to participate in the Being Cancer Book Club. This month we are discussing “The Last Lecture” by Randy Pausch. “...the lecture he gave ... was about the importance of overcoming obstacles, of enabling the dreams of others, of seizing every moment (because “time is all you have…and you may find one day that you have less than you think”). It was a summation of everything Randy had come to believe. It was about living.”
Monday is Book Club day; Tuesday Guest Blog and Friday Cancer News Roundup.
Also check out Cancer Blog Links containing almost 200 blog links and Cancer Resources with 230 referenced sites, both divided into disease categories.
Please accept this invitation to join our growing cancer blogging community at www.beingcancer.net
Take care, Dennis

Dr. Koffman,

I just signed up! Thanks for letting us know how to help.

(I'm Nick and Rachael's friend from USC, and I grew up in diamond bar a patient of Dr. Rhodes)

Thanks!
