This could be the start of something good Lionel Hampton

Three more pieces of good news:

1: Going home on Monday July 21. My wife and children and Marina (the backbone of our family for two decades) are scaring away any dirt  or dust or mold or germ within a 5 mile radius. I am much mellower here. They are going crazy with my early discharge. Originally the plan was that I would be in the cottages on the CoH campus for a month or two. But because I have done so well, especially not needing any  blood products, I don't need stay at any halfway house, and get to go straight home.

2: ANC (neutrophils) climbed past the 1000 mark today, so move the infection danger risk arrow another notch down.

3: My hair loss has stopped. A bit late. I need your advice. Do I shave or keep the wispy look?

More later.

1) Very Cool

2) Very Cool

3) Not so cool. If it were closer to Halloween I would say keep it. At this point, you don't even have enough for a bad comb over. Finish the job and get rid of it.

The BEST news!!! Congratulations on your early release! I vote to have your wife decided whether to keep the hair or lose it-she's the one that has to look at you all day.
You have been such an inspiration to me. Thank you for forging ahead and making all us Cll'r's watch in awe.

I am awestruck.

With the expertise of a great medical care team, plus the love and caring of family and friends, you have overcome the foe with tenacity and faith.

What an incredible feat.

I wish you day after day of incredible wins as your journey continues.

Although I think the "Hard Boiled Haggerty" look is WAY overdone today, I suppose it is the better look of the two.

Go ahead, SHAVE IT!

Great looking head of hair you have there. The Cytoxin will do that to you. That is a small price to pay for the BMT results that you have had over the last 20 days. You look great and I am glad that you will be going home. Is there a chance I can get your family to come and disinfect my house too?????
