It's my birthday too

What started as a personal journey of a doctor turned patient morphed into a way to share what’s universal in dealing with cancer, in my case a nasty leukemia (CLL), a failed transplant and a successful clinical trial. The telling of my journey has become a journey to teach about CLL, related blood issues and all cancers. Please visit our new website http://cllsociety.org for the latest news and information. Happy, Happy re-birthday. It is my prayer that it will continue for a very long time, that you will get to celebrate many times over, and that God will pour out even more blessings on you as you help others who are facing similar journeys. Life is sweet, and even when it is not, there are so many things to learn. Take care. Karen Owens
What a great day to celebrate and hope all is well. I have been honored to follow your journey across the miles of the internet and hope for many more birthdays!!!
Happy Birthday and Happy Canada Day, with many thanks for taking us along on your adventure of the last year. You have given us laughter, hope, knowledge, and food for thought along the way. May we share many more adventures - boring medically and life inspiring - in the future!
Dear Brian,
Thank you for being an inspiration to those of us who have, and continue to struggle with the "unknowns" regarding our treatments and longevity.
I'm four years post-allo. transplant! I, like you, try to live every day to the "nth" degee!
I continue to send you positive, healing thoughts. Happy B'day!
Glad to see you're doing so well.
Dear Dr. Koffman,
It makes my heart soar to read of your good fortune. You were my favorite doctor, because you were more than a physician. You embodied a positive, sensitive healing energy that continues to heal long after the office visit. Thanks for sharing your journey with us. Please continue!
